Hello, Let me introduce myself. (this being posted on the web late, for those not
having met me yet)
My name is Marshall Hosey (ie. Rosey, Posey, Nosey, with an H)
On a personal level:
I have been married since 1982, have 2 daughters - Heather is a Junior @ Texas State in San Marcos - Bridget is a seventh-grader @ Jr. High.
Their mother, Audena, works @ Annie Simms teaching third graders.
I came to Mt. Pleasant in 1997 to work for Region 8 ESC, and was laid-off August, 2003.
I am a member of First Baptist Church, here in Mt. Pleasant. Deacon, choir-member , and ninth-grade boys Sunday school teacher.

Professionally:
I have been building, repairing, and troubleshooting PC's since 1986. Printers & Networks since 1989, beginning with Novell Netware. Operating systems since DOS 1.0 thru MS Windows Advanced Server 2003, including DR-DOS 6.0 and various forms of others.
I have had jobs in the Federal prison system, Mental Health Center, Major hospital, Educational Service Center, self-employed, and now with the Mt. Pleasant High School. After my first 3 days, I found that this will be my most challenging job yet. I am up to it, let me know where I can help, and I will do my best.
There are a lot of issues facing computer use today. Viruses are well known, and are accepted as a part of what is out there. Other issues we well hear more about in the future and will understand as well or more than viruses. Please see the attached document (Online-Network Security) I compiled that may explain some of what I am alluding to here. Also, please feel free to contact me with issues you may not be able to explain.
